Ethiopia "Tagel Alemayehu" Washed Landrace - Hydrangea

Known for his efficiency and quiet warmth, Tagel grew up in Bule Hora immersed in coffee as the son of a trader who helped establish the region’s first washing station. After managing a station from 2004, he founded Olkai in 2018 as export regulations opened, keeping it a family operation with his wife overseeing exports. Today, Olkai runs several washing stations across Guji, Bule Hora, and Sidama, built on decades of community trust, and this coffee comes from 130 registered outgrowers working together in a smallholder-led, quality-focused network.

Expect a juicy cup with notes of sweet tangerine, bright raspberries and a finish of yellow florals.
