David Flores is a seasoned coffee producer from El Diamante in San José de Lourdes, Cajamarca, and part of a multi-generation coffee farming family.
This lot features the rare Marshell variety, a unique Catimor-derived cultivar that stands out for its unexpected floral and fruity cup profile. Genetically tested by RD2 Vision, Marshell has proven far more expressive than typical Catimor types, while retaining excellent disease resistance. Its potential was confirmed in 2019 when it won Peru’s Cup of Excellence, inspiring producers like David to plant it as a long-term investment in both quality and resilience.
