Burundi "Gaharo" Washed Red Bourbon - Obadiah

Grown on Gaharo Hill in Kayanza at 1,700–2,100 masl, this washed Red Bourbon is produced by Long Miles Coffee and processed at Bukeye Washing Station at the base of the hill. Built with the local community in 2013, Bukeye remains closely connected to the farmers who deliver cherry there today. Long Miles works directly with coffee-growing families across Burundi, Uganda, and Kenya, with a focus on long-term relationships, traceability, and improving quality at origin.

After careful sorting, the cherries are washed and fermented before being slowly dried on raised beds.

Expect a delicate cup with notes of dried fruits and sweet florals.
