Colombia "El Obraje" Washed Costa Rica 95 - Obadiah
International Feature Roaster: Obadiah
At 2,200–2,300 masl in Tangua, Nariño, Pablo Guerrero continues to explore the potential of Hacienda El Obraje, one of Colombia’s highest coffee-growing areas. This lot is Costa Rica 95, a hybrid of Caturra and Timor Hybrid that performs particularly well in Nariño’s cool climate and long ripening season.
After harvest, ripe cherries undergo a brief underwater fermentation before being washed and dried on raised beds. With every stage completed at the farm, the careful processing preserves clarity while adding depth and complexity.
Expect a balanced cup with notes of orchard fruit, cacao and a sweet aftertaste.
