This Chiroso lot comes from the Perlitas project in Urrao, now a key part of ongoing sourcing in the region. Chiroso has reshaped the local coffee landscape, opening access to the specialty market and improving both quality and producer income. Still relatively new, this Ethiopian landrace-type variety has quickly gained attention for its exceptional cup potential.

Cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and rested in-cherry for 24 hours, then floated, depulped, and dry-fermented for 36 hours. The coffee is dried slowly on raised beds for around 20 days to ~10% moisture.

Expect a sweet and fruity cup with notes of yellow tropical fruits, sweet jam and fresh hops.
