Ethiopia "Chorso Bule" Washed Landrace - SEY

Sale price320 kr

International Feature Roaster: SEY

Developed in collaboration with SNAP, this lot comes from Chorso Bule in Gedeb, where only cherries grown above 2,450 masl were selected for the Highest Elevation Project. After years of working together, this initiative is a new step towards more precise sourcing and traceability in Ethiopia, allowing coffees from specific sites and elevations to be explored in greater detail. The lot comprises Ethiopian landrace varieties, reflecting the remarkable diversity of the country’s coffee genetics.

After harvesting, the cherries are floated and held whole for 24 hours before being depulped. The coffee undergoes 24 hours of dry fermentation followed by a further 12 hours of wet fermentation without submersion, then dries on raised beds for 10–14 days.

Expect a clean yet fruity cup with notes of ripe peach, sweet melon and fragrant honeysuckle.
