Ethiopia "Wate Village Gogogu" Washed Dega + Kurume - Goût & Co

Sale price260 kr

International Feature Roaster: Goût & Co

This high-altitude coffee comes from Wate Village Gogogu Station in Uraga, Guji, where the Dega and Kurume varieties are cultivated at elevations of 2,100–2,300 masl. Established in 2020, the station works with around 510 smallholder farmers in one of the most remote and elevated areas of the Guji region.

The coffee is traditionally washed, undergoing 60 hours of fermentation before being sun-dried on African drying beds for 17–20 days. The resulting cup combines Guji’s characteristic notes of bright citrus and stone fruit with the delicate, rose-like floral sweetness often associated with Yirgacheffe.

Expect bright and floral cup with notes of green grapes, bergamot, white floral nectar, and sweet Dancong tea.
