This washed coffee comes from Kiangoi Station in Kirinyaga, operated by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which also manages the Kii and Karimikui stations. The area’s rich volcanic soils and relatively young coffee plantations contribute to the high quality and vibrant character found in these coffees.

The ripe cherries are carefully sorted, pulped, fermented, and washed before being dried on raised beds. The clean processing highlights the character of the classic Kenyan varieties.

The ripe cherries are processed using a traditional washed method, allowing the natural sweetness and clarity of the coffee to shine through.

Expect a fresh and crisp cup with notes of bright redcurrant, and floral hibiscus.
