Peru "Montana Alta" Washed SL09 - Terraform
International Feature Roaster: Terraform
At Montana Alta in Inkawasi, Cusco, producer Jaime Huayllas cultivates coffee at around 2,400 masl. The surrounding forest provides natural shade for the coffee trees, while fallen leaves decompose and return organic nutrients to the soil. This lot features SL09, part of the SL series originally developed by Scott Laboratories in Kenya during the 1930s. Grown in the Cusco region, the variety is known for its delicate, floral character, often compared to Gesha.
