This SL9 comes from Wilbert Almanza in Inkawasi, grown at 1,900 masl. Raised in a coffee-producing family, Wilbert has spent his life in coffee and now leads quality control and marketing at San Fernando, playing a key role in elevating coffees from the region through his focus on tasting and precision.

The variety, known as SL9, is a rare Ethiopian legacy-type cultivar closely related to SL09, offering refined structure and complexity. Cherries are handpicked, floated, depulped the same day, and dry-fermented for five days before washing and drying on raised beds. The result is a clean and elegant cup that reflects both the uniqueness of the variety and the careful work behind it.

Expect a sweet and fruity cup with notes of sweet tropical fruits, delicate lavender and a sweet finish reminiscent of candy.
