Ethiopia "Megadu Static Cherry" Anoxic Natural Wild Guji Megadu + JARC 74112 + 74158 - Scenery
International Feature Roaster: Scenery
Founded by Hester and Dawit in Ethiopia's Guji highlands, Bette Buna was created with a simple ambition: to improve quality, sustainability, and livelihoods through community-led coffee production. Alongside operating their own farms, they invest heavily in local agronomy, shade tree planting, and education programs, helping build resilience for both producers and the landscape.
This lot undergoes Bette Buna's "Static Cherry" Anoxic Natural process: ripe cherries are gently pre-dried for 24 hours before a 96-hour anaerobic fermentation and slow drying on raised beds.
Expect a classic Guji profile bursting with blueberry, strawberry and pineapple aromatics, heavy marmalade sweetness, gewürztraminer acidity, finishing with lavender and geranium florals.
