★ Rare + Exclusive Selection
Oma Gesha Village is a naturally processed Gesha 1931 from the Oma plot at Gesha Village in Ethiopia's remote Bench Maji zone, reaching up to 2,040m in humid, high-altitude forests near the Great Rift Valley.
Founded by Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel in 2007, the 471-hectare farm preserves wild biodiversity while cultivating this rare varietal—seeds selected to match the original 1931 Geisha discovery just 20km away. Cherries, harvested in late January 2024, dry in thin layers on raised African beds then under shade for even fermentation, yielding an intense yet delicate expression of its wild Ethiopian roots.
Expect clear jasmine aromatics blooming into juicy peach and stone fruit sweetness, with a round tangerine acidity and black tea finish. The cup is floral, clean, and harmonious, with deep sugary layers.
Tasting Notes: Jasmine | Peach | Tangerine
