Regassa, a 43-year-old producer from Bombe Village in Bensa, Sidama, cultivates his 4-hectare family farm where he lives with his four children. Trained in agricultural business management (Saint Mary University) and plant science (Dilla University), he also works with the Bensa Woreda agricultural enterprise, integrating modern agronomic practices into his own production.
On his farm of 4 hectares, he planted more than 9000 trees, all of which is single variety of 74158. Regassa’s approach is meticulous natural processing: floaters removed at reception, hand-sorting on raised beds, and single-layer drying under sunlight for 23–25 days.
Expect a sweet and bright cup with notes of raspberry, dried plum, and candied citrus.
