Kenya "KII" Washed SL28 + SL34 - Sweven

This washed Kenya AA comes from Kii Factory in Kirinyaga, one of three washing stations operated by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society. Established in 1953, the cooperative works with thousands of smallholder farmers growing coffee at 1,700–1,900 masl on the region’s fertile volcanic soils.

Only ripe cherries are pulped and graded by density before being fermented, washed, and soaked in clean water. The parchment is then slowly dried on raised beds, preserving clarity and sweetness throughout the cup.

Expect an intense and sweet cup with notes of bright grapefruit, floral lavender and a lingering sweet aftertaste reminiscent of rainier cherries.
