Noma Coffee: Bar Takeover & Open Cupping | Malmö
This event will be hosted exclusively in our Malmö store at Djäknegatan 9.
We're excited to welcome Carolyne Lane (@carolynelane) from Noma Coffee to Nordic Brew Lab Malmö for a bar takeover and open cupping session.
The event is split into two parts
Bar Takeover - Carolyne will be showcasing some of Noma Coffees latest releases in a bar takeover format with a special menu focusing on two different micro regions of Chiapas, Mexico.
Open Cupping - Join us as we discover the context and development of the Chiapas region in Mexico, as Carolyne walks through the varieties and innovations driving coffee growth in this region as a coffee producing origin.

Open Cupping: 17:00 - 18:00 (Booking only required for open cupping)

Introducing Noma Coffee
Nearly a decade ago, Noma set out to make coffee an unforgettable part of the dining experience at the restaurant —a bold idea at the time. Little by little, though, it would become a hallmark of their service. Working with amazing roasters, Noma developed a brewing method fit to the menu and its pace. Eventually, the question was asked: Why not do it all? In 2024, Noma started roasting the beans that they brew for guests, right there in Copenhagen.
The team has since set out to travel to origin countries and stand in the shade of coffee trees to meet producers and deepen their knowledge of the complex world of farming, processing, and trading coffee: a logical step for the Noma team, who have always had a personal relationship with their producers, whether they grow grapes, or seaweed, or asparagus.
