The Lamastus family has been growing coffee at Elida Estate for over a century, high in the Boquete highlands where volcanic soils, cool temperatures, and forest cover shape one of Panama’s most celebrated terroirs. Elida is the oldest of their farms and where our relationship with the family began after first meeting Wilford Lamastus Jr. in 2019, growing through years of shared tastings and time spent on the farm.
Elida also reflects a deep commitment to sustainability and community, with bioreactors that turn organic waste into compost and cooking gas, regular medical care for workers, and family-focused celebrations throughout the year. This coffee is the result of generations of experience, thoughtful innovation, and a genuine respect for both people and land.
Expect a super fruity cup brimming with chocolatey depth, ripe strawberry sweetness, and a tea-like finish.
Tasting Notes: Chocolate | Strawberry | Black Tea
