The Elida Estate has been owned by the Lamastus family since 1918. Elida is located high on the Volcan Baru national park, on the fertile slopes of the extinct volcano.
This lot comes from Elida’s Aguacate plot at 1,800 masl, the same site as last year’s Best of Panama–winning natural. Harvested on March 10, 2025, ripe Geisha cherries were fermented for two days in sealed tanks with native cultures before being dried slowly on raised beds for over 30 days, preserving cell structure and aromatic integrity. This careful, low-temperature drying locks in intensity and sweetness while maintaining the floral elegance Elida is known for.
Expect sweet notes of stewed berry with clean and intense aromas of violet and rose water.
