The Elida Estate has been owned by the Lamastus family since 1918. Elida is located high on the Volcan Baru national park, on the fertile slopes of the extinct volcano.
This lot comes from Elida’s Torre plot at 1,800 masl, the farm’s most prized site within Volcán Barú National Park and a frequent top finisher at Best of Panama, and is a single-day harvest. Picked on February 24, 2025, fully ripe cherries were depulped, fermented for 48 hours in cool conditions, then dried on raised beds for 14 days, resulting in exceptional sweetness and balance.
Expect clean notes of white florals atop a base of fresh stone fruits and intense citrus aromatics balanced by a deep and rich honey sweetness.
Tasting Notes: Stone fruit | White florals | Citrus | Honey
