Panama "Hacienda La Esmeralda" Natural SL34 - Hydrangea

This SL-34 was grown at Hacienda La Esmeralda’s Cañas Verdes farm, which is defined by its cool air and a pronounced three- to four-month dry season, conditions that support slow, even drying and refined structure. Part of the farm sits on original Peterson family land purchased in 1967. Following the rediscovery of Geisha, the Peterson family expanded across the surrounding hillsides, and Cañas Verdes has since become the source of many of Esmeralda’s most celebrated and award-winning lots.

After picking, the cherries were taken to the estate’s Palmira mill, where they were slow-dried on raised beds for 26 days to preserve clarity and sweetness.

Expect a fruity cup with notes of sweet and tart Kyoho grape, bright raspberries and a black tea finish.
