Nestled in the hills of La Esperanza, San Agustín, producer José del Mar Ordoñez has built his farm through years of persistence and experimentation. This Bourbon Pimienta lot is his first harvest of the variety and one of the few honey-processed coffees produced within the Monkaaba group, reflecting his commitment to exploring new approaches to quality.
Ripe cherries are selectively harvested every three weeks before undergoing a 90-hour fermentation. The coffee is then pulped and dried with the full mucilage intact for 22–25 days, creating a vibrant and expressive cup
Expect an exciting and flavourful cup with notes of candied apples, white grapes, condensed milk, and a sweet herbal aftertaste.
