Finca El Laurel spans about 12 hectares in the Las Delicias community, Danlí municipality, El Paraíso department, at an elevation of 1,400 to 1,600 meters above sea level. The farm is family-run, with coffee production as the primary income source for generations, covering 8.5 to 9 hectares of coffee trees interspersed with fruit trees like plums and avocados.
The coffee is primarily Parainema, a large-bean variety derived from Sarchimor pedigree (T5296), well-suited to medium altitudes and offering high sweetness intensity. It undergoes a fully washed process, where cherries are depulped, fermented, and dried to produce a clean profile, often using solar dryers for quality enhancement.
Expect notes of pear, jasmine, and lime, with a light body and bright acidity.
