★ Rare + Exclusive Selection
Hacienda Cañas Verdes covers 11 hectares in the Cañas Verdes district of Boquete, Chiriquí Province, at 1,550 meters above sea level within the Volcán Barú National Park. The farm benefits from fertile volcanic soils, excellent drainage, and a humid tropical microclimate with morning mist, supporting shade-grown coffee under 60% native tree cover.
This lot features the Geisha varietal, renowned for its floral complexity and tropical vibrancy, grown alongside Catuai on the farm. The natural process involves drying whole ripe cherries on raised African beds for 25 days, allowing fermentation to infuse deep sweetness without depulping. GN-3245 specifically avoids anaerobic extensions seen in other lots, focusing on a clean natural profile to accentuate the terroir.
Expect notes of dark chocolate, guava, and strawberry, with a balanced sweetness and medium body.
Tasting Notes: Dark Chocolate | Guava | Strawberry
