★ Rare + Exclusive Selection
Nestled at 1,980 meters on the slopes of the Barú volcano, the Alessa plot is a 0.5-hectare micro-lot within Mima Estate, cultivated like a wild forest on rich volcanic soil and planted with just 360 Green Tip Gesha trees. Harvested on April 10, 2025, the cherries underwent a five-day River Flow Fermentation, sealed in GrainPro bags and submerged in cold river water to allow slow, controlled anaerobic fermentation, before being dried for 30 days in a climate-controlled room at 18 °C and 50% humidity, preserving exceptional aromatic complexity, structure, and clarity in the cup.
Behind the lot is Altieri Specialty Coffee, a family-run producer in Boquete whose farms have become global reference points for Gesha, and a key presence in the Best of Panama competition, driven by meticulous farming, innovative processing, and a strong commitment to worker welfare and community support.
Expect notes of jasmine, lemon, pineapple, and white peach, with a complex aromatic structure.
Tasting Notes: Jasmine | Lemon | Pineapple | White Peach
