International Feature Roaster: Cafen

Wilder Lazo Washed Geisha is a delicately processed Geisha variety from Wilder Lazo's farm in Huila, Colombia, grown at 1,800m on nutrient-enriched volcanic soils. The veterinarian-turned-producer hand-picks ripe cherries, depulps them, ferments for 180 hours, washes thoroughly, and dries on raised beds for 12 days, emphasizing precision agriculture to highlight the variety's floral elegance and clean clarity— a testament to Wilder's innovative quest for excellence amid the misty highlands.

Expect a cup that’s lavender-laced and tea-like, with supporting notes of earl grey tea and an almost ethereal delicacy. its complex character and layered flavour profile is a direct reflection of the controlled, oxygen-free environment that allows the Geisha’s intricate florals to take centre stage, unclouded and refined.
