Ethiopia "Gemechu Shonora G1" Natural Kurume - Kaffemik
This coffee comes from the Harruu Bunnaqaa community in Guji, Oromia, where around 500 smallholder farmers cultivate coffee at 1,900–2,200 masl. Deeply rooted in Gadaa traditions, coffee here is inseparable from community life, shared under the Harruu tree as a symbol of gathering, generosity, and knowledge passed down through generations.
Ripe cherries are hand-picked and sun-dried on raised beds for around 22 days, with careful attention to even drying and protection from excess heat or moisture. Hulling and sorting are handled within the community, ensuring quality and traceability.
Expect a vibrant, complex cup with notes of sweet lychee, fruity and bright raspberry and a floral finish.
